I was rang, and the caller was ringing about diesel claims. When I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from the database, he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested. He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!

I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based.
