There was a call from this number to my mobile number. The line was awful but there was someone on the other end with a strong Asian accent, which added to the bad line, I couldn't understand a word they were saying. It's a Garstang number and I don't know anyone or aware of any business in that area, so presume the call was a possible scam call.

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!

Call centre calling on behalf on UK for UNHCR (I think the company/call centre itself was called something like Angel Charity Services). They were following up on a one-off donation to see if I would set up a direct debit for a regular donation. (The call operator had my details and those of my prior donation.) Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.
