Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . This company are based in Brighton and are trying to get you to make charitable donations to various charities.... As I already donate to a charity of my choice I do not wish to be bothered by these types of calls. I m also signed up with TPS so shouldn t get them anyway... I found their direct number which is 01273 698697 and asked them to remove both my numbers from their database... Lets see what happens...

Scam call for Open Reach. Simply tell them how many appliances you have connected to their network. Then go to your computer as instructed and let them in - job done. Better still, why not give them your bank details along with a few pass codes and make life easy for these scammers.

SPAM - Indian sounding man says he’s from internet security. Wanted me to download an App on my phone or laptop called Team Viewer QuickSupport - quickly realised it was a screen sharing app. Decided to hang up the phone and unplug my landline. Reported to BT and Fraud ActionLine.
PPI call from BPC - Black Pearl Claims. Absolute scam, they ve used several different numbers to call me from, and I ve never bought a PPI in my life. I d love to know who sold them my number since I don t use it when filling out forms and such.
