SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. SCAM Recorded message falsely claiming to be from HMRC telling me that I am being investigated for tax fraud and I "have to" press 1 to be put though to them. Threatened that I would be arrested straight away if I didn't.
They are a central heating company. They will only call you if you have given them or a third party your telephone number.

09 Dec 2021 - Has called 3 days in a row, not sure if its robotic or a person but after I say hello there is silence and they put the phone down. I suspect they are testing numbers to see who answers then possibly sell this data on to other spam callers. Don't bother answering, block number if you can. Reply

Number claims to be from NHS stating I have been in contact with someone who has Omicron Variant and I must order a free PCR testing kit and left a link to claim it. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be. Received a text message from `Lloyd's` saying my phone had been paired with another device and to click on a link if it was not authorised. I did NOT click on the link, and deleted the message.
2 missed calls - when i dialed the number it came up with automated voicemail saying you were on hold and being transferred through to the next available agent

If you have a call blocker phone, just block the number. They ll still call but it won t ring and disturb your day (or temper!).
