Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!

They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

Asked for email address as I didn't have the time to speak, told them to send me an email as they seemed to have my info, but he could only confirm my name, so I hung up. Probably a scam and I have blocked the number now
