Called saying he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer. When I repeatedly asked why he was calling he became very abusive. Caller had an Asian accent but knew some very offensive English words! I informed the police.

Had a call today at 12.31 from this number, with a particularly nasty scam. He told me his name was "Peter" (though his accent was asian) and that he was from the "computer licensing department". He informed me that my computer has been running from two IP addresses and that it would be shut down if I didn t act. 2 calls to my mobile phone, both while I was out without it. No messages left, so I m assuming it s a cold caller.

This number called twice in 24 hours asking to speak to a specific member of the household in connection with a survey from the bank. I refused to pass on the call as we have an ex-directory number and have registered with TPS. I fortunately have a phone that can block numbers so have now added this number to the list.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered.

Dead giveaway when she said she was calling from the Microsoft Windows centre (or something that sounded similar). Heard from them before. Waste of time, scam and bogus.

This number calls and when I answer there is silence. Nuisance caller.

Stating they are the credit investigation department, a UK government department. When questioned further, the caller revealed they were an independent company doing promotional calls.

Want to know who it is. I don't want to ring it in case it costs me an arm and a leg in rip off charges.

rang today at 6 oclock i said hello he said hello (ASIAN MALE)..i said hello he said hello ..i said who is this and what do you want and he said i want you. i said scuse me? he said i want you. i said dont ring this number again you freak! and hung up. absolutely unbelievable!

They have called us 6 x in 3 days. Saying they are BT and have received warning signals from our router. When my Husband told them he worked for BT they hung up.
