The caller "david", told me I had been involved in a car accident a month ago (which I have not) he proceeded to tell me I was wrong. At this point I cut him off and told him this was not possible and hung up.

On returning this call it was an automated response saying that as my phone contract was due to expire shortly they could offer info. on new handsets etc. Press 1 to remove from their database, 2 to speak to someone. On entering 1 you are requested to enter your no. then the hash tag. Upon doing this the line went dead. Hopefully I won t now start receiveing lots of Spam!

Called on 25th Aug 21. Answering machine took it, no message left.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. maybe a debt collection Co. as I had a threatening letter from Post Office telecom wanting money after they took over my ISP without ny knowledge and cut off my phone without warning after none of their comms reached me. As I have no contract with them or no warnings they can go whistle/

Three phone calls from this number. Heavy accent hard to understand. Claims to be doing an important energy survey and that number will be removed from list afterwards. Refused to give company name when asked and repeated it was important survey and they needed my gas/electric details. Becomes rude and aggressive when you ask questions.
