No person speaking at other end. Annoying. Probably trying to verify that a land line is in use. Suspected spam.

Had a text message saying that there was fraud on my account and then to call it. I called my bank and they told me it was a scam to try and get details from you to take money through your telephone banking. Don’t call this number!

SCAM Said he was from BT and could increase my broadband line speed for a payment

SPAM A company claiming to offer financial advise in online stock trading of crypto currency. Its spam at best and a scam at worst. They operated their calls with extreme push sales to the point that he told me if I didn't take his advice u might want to kill myself in 5 years out of regret.

Indian accent guy said his name was Peter and from Microsoft. He said he was calling about my computer, I told him I didn't have one and he hung up.

SCAM. Called saying that they were going to discount my internet due to illegal activity unless I I pressed 1 to talk to an advisor, just put the phone down. I have had this same cal at least 4 times in the past week.

SCAM - caller claiming to be from HMRC

SCAM, called saying they were from BT and that my internet connection had been made public by some malware installed on my PC. Idian/Asian sounding voice with noise in the background of a telemarketing/boiler room.

SCAM Said he was calling from the Public Advice Centre????!!!! Replaced receiver and terminated call.

Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend

SPAM - Indian sounding man says he’s from internet security. Wanted me to download an App on my phone or laptop called Team Viewer QuickSupport - quickly realised it was a screen sharing app. Decided to hang up the phone and unplug my landline. Reported to BT and Fraud ActionLine.
