Received malicious phone calls several times with the same message. Recorded message saying phone and internet will be disconnected tomorrow as our IP address has been used to hack a government website (because thats believable). It said if we don't call an 0161 number (i didn't even bother getting the rest) our internet and phone line would be cut off despite saying the exact same thing the day before and surprise surprise im here using the internet right now? Blocked number being able to contact us again.

SPAM call kept saying I had been in an accident, I asked what company they were calling from and it went quiet. They carried on asking about an accident, again I asked what the company name was and it went quiet so I hung up.

I started advertising company details in internet and I believe that s how they found me. Called and offered me to be at the top of Google search results with most competitive keywords in our business for a fixed amount of ?99, plus a one-off activation fee of just ?10 including VAT. Can hear a busy call centre environment in the background. Pushy sales and I believe it s a scam as most competitive keywords in our industry cost around ?8-10 per click. Scam callers trying to fish for banking details so they can rob you. Had multiple calls from this and similar numbers (ending 4301 to this 4309) all exactly the same, all late at night too between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, so not from a legit company as its illegal to phone you this late. I pretty much autoblock all 020 numbers now as they re always some kind of dodgy call centre trying to rob you. Blocked.
PPI claims call - a new number I guess. Put the phone down in the end.
