SCAM. Purporting to be an internet security company who'd detected a problem with my computer.

Fraud

Called using my first name only (overly familiar I find). I asked where they got my number and the man didn't answer, just said they were calling about life insurance on behalf of Lloyds, Scottish Widows to name two that I remember. I said I don't engage in conversations about any such matters on the phone and asked them to take my number off their list and hung up. Have blocked number.

keep changing last four digits, when you call it it's not recognised!

It is a scam. They call you as people from HMRC and ask for payment details. BEWARE

male caller said from HMRC and with the local Police too - talking about outstanding tax due and if I did not pay I would be arrested - once I sent the money from the details given over the telephone I had time to think that this was an unusual set up - I called the real HMRC to establish this is a scam

This number has repeatedly phoned me, only when I answer, they put the phone down.. I did call back and iv supposedly had a car accident! Told her to remove my number as my phone number is being monitored.. hopefully leave me alone now!

Claimed to be phoning about Corporate Bonds. I asked them to remove my details from their database. Two minutes later I had a call from a different person, but the exact same number.

They text me asking to ring them, they informed me (in the text) that my contract gas expired and that an upgrade is due. My contract however is yet to expire and still has just over a month left on it.
