Female called Lauren contacted my mother (70 s) to sell service to stop unwanted calls (ironic). Very persistent and aggressive selling manner.she used the old trick of assuming my mother wished the service and went straight for her bank details. Thankfully my mother did not pass any. Lowest form of scum these people no better than bogus callers who steal from the elderly.

Internet - trying to sell me new phone/internet contract. There were long pauses during the conversation suggesting that the call wasn't coming from Cambridge. No one spoke at first then said do I want to claim ppi I let them about it then I said no they swore at me for wasting there I laughed. They put the phone down and rang me a couple if times just swearing at me so I blocked it.
Boiler scammers - Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back.
