Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases accident claims). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437244xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

He has called me twice in the past two days. He said I am owed ?2,000 in PPI. He then asked me to confirm my age, address, name etc. I didn t want to give out my details to him and he said I would receive some documentation in the post from my bank. After refusing to give him my details, he ended the call. A piece of advice- give these scammers fake details (play them at their own game) and lead them up the garden path.

I can't recommend BT call guardian enough, free with a new handset so easy and avoids all these crap calls, I only ever check these numbers now after my phone displays they called but we're blocked ???? Best money you'll ever spend.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2038684xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing, accident chasers, PPI claims, "car accident which was not your fault". Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new, new scope, or still the same story?
