Apparently my internet has been involved in unlawful activity and will be disconnected in 24/48 hours. Not the first time this has happened.

Female caller with strong Indian accent . Knew my name and postcode. Said she was from a UK Energy Centre and could help to improve my loft insulation. She began to ask details of my home at which point I told her politely to P*** Off and never call again.

They try to get you to confirm your details and then pretend to know the expiry date on your credit card (year only) in an attempt to obtain your card details. Well, this number is related to the RSPCA - check them at http://www.rspca.org.uk/home - but this number is used by a global call centre working for multiple charities, and the bad thing is that they share the database of numbers, so can call you not only in the name of RSPCA then...
