The girl called 'Kate' mentioned my business name and said she found me via facebook. There was a lot of background noise. Sounded like a call centre but can't be sure. I was cagey on the phone as I was not expecting the call and unfortunately am very aware of prank calls. Answered a call from this number - they asked for some name, no-one that lives here anyway. Said they must have the wrong number and they went on to ask if I was the homeowner of some address or other (again wrong) at which point I said they had the wrong information and hung up. What makes it suspicious is that I could hear in the background on their end other people using the 'Are you the homeowner' line. Wish I hadn't answered now in case they are checking for valid phone numbers or something.
