This number has called me twice today, both times no one spoke when I answered and then the phone went dead. Do these people think we have nothing better to do than answer calls when there is no one on the other end. Obviously automated dialling systems so their operators do not waste their time. Call center Claimed to be calling from Carphone Warehouse. When I ask to be removed from calling list I was told to “f**k off” and the call was disconnected.
Call center sales cal for utilities - supposedly - didn't stay with call long enough to realy find out. I'm TPS registered and while most people know that TPS is a fairly useless paper tiger, registration does achieve one thing because reputuable companies do not call registered numbers with cold calling sales calls.

Boiler scammers - Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back.
