.Harassing Cold call . Trying to sell roof insulation. Do I buy from harassing cold callers??? Nope! Knew our name and address. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service. Asked him to remove our details from his database to comply with current GDPR rules. Kept him talking for a good 10 minutes to stop him harassing others during that time

Having received a call from this number I decided to call the number back, it was connected to a Pension Claims company, however as I have started to notice if you listen to the full message you can remove your details by pressing X/#... so will see if this works.

Another scamy company from manchester. Usually calls asking for Emily or Emily smith (had other calls from other northern based numbers asking for the same person . They are all phising for info via PPI, survey, selling newspaper subscriptions, new fuel contracts or telephone contracts. All scams!

When looked up it’s not connected to any company, personally I’m not waiting for a phone a call from Manchester as I’m from a different area in the UK. AS with other comments caller wanted to speak to our MD about a urgent financial matter that couldn t be discussed with anyone else. Tasha at CFS business recovery. An obvious giveaway for these types of calls is to ask them to spell the company name phonetically. If they use other words that are not the standard phonetic alphabet then they haven t received the training a proper company would give. CFS was spelt out Charlie, Freddie, Sugar by the caller not Charlie, Foxtrot, Sierra.

I ve worked there, Sabrina is fit as faf btw. It s openreach who manage the lines perhaps if you took 20 seconds of your time to google that rather than vent your frustration online you d know that. Got to confirm you ve got a mobile for the call (£5 a month a discount.) You kept her on the line? you realize you re allowed to hang up. she s not. Scam? You ve got line rental and broadband with two different providers, it s the the 21st century, no one even does that anymore so how bad can a package be? Also
