Company apparently called Quigley & Carter using various mobile numbers to send spam texts. Today s text said "The Banks are refunding customers up to 2000 who have paid a monthly fee on packaged accounts, visit www.mybankrefund.com for your refund today or optout.cc" The website mybankrefund.com apparently belongs to Quigley & Carter and has the following text at the bottom of their website: Quigley & Carter Limited a company registered in England and Wales. I have never given this land line number out as I rarely use it for telephone calls and already have had scam callers pretending to be from microsoft trying to get me to switch computer on to defraud me.

Actually this is a 'spoof' number - one digit short for a genuine Manchester phone number.

Rang off after phone had rang only once, rang again seconds later & phone rang only twice, then rang again after a few seconds & phone rang only 3 times - VERY annoying. Just ignored all 3 calls.

2 missed calls - when i dialed the number it came up with automated voicemail saying you were on hold and being transferred through to the next available agent

I get several calls from this number, but when you ring them back they just hang up

Said they were from first responders, whatever that meant. Came up on my iphone as calling from Mull, Scotland.
