A Man (after a pause) called on this number saying it was Amazon and that someone had ordered a smart phone on my account. I didn't give him chance to say what he wanted me to do about it - he was going to send an email. I put the phone down and checked with Amazon who confirmed no one had telephoned me from there.

Bank Scam: Call to my landline - a recording of a female robotic voice with an American accent told me that 2 transactions has been made on my card that were potentially fraudulent. The recording went on to tell me the transaction details and told me to press 1 to authorise them or press 2 to speak to someone
This number and more simular 0161 939 numbers keeps ringing my landline, despite being registered with TPS for 3 years. Everytime I answered the phone to them, it is same storyline again. Some chap tells me that will be receiving a letter in the post about my PPI claim I made.
