Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.
SCAM/PHISHING? Foreign sounding man calling himself ‘Kevin’ from the ‘Post Code Lottery’ said that I had been picked to win a ‘gift card’ that would give me 40% off ANY supermarket shop. This number 07901 823 560 rang on the 26/04/2023. It was a voice recorded message, stating, for some unknown reason, that I was immediately entitled too several hundred's of pound's. I hung up immediately, as I suspected it was a Scam phone call. Thank You for Your assistance in this matter.

Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. "Matt" regarding our (non-existent) government-funded loft insulation. I just laughed, and he hung up.
An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

The company is known as go4ukloans , they call you to tell you that you have been approved for loan that does not exist as they are not loan company but bunch of people who scam people to take money of them. They will ask you to make the first payment of your loan for the loan to be sent in your bank. Don t believe them. Don t send them any money !!
