Phone rang, silence then a click. They almost got my name right and told me they would be sending me a letter with a refund from a recent financial transaction, didn't specify which one. I suggested that the caller was probably better off seeking gainful employment elsewhere and should stop wasting both my and her time. I have no doubt this is a scam or con.

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

This caller hung up as soon as call was answered and it was answered quickly, it was maybe a wrong Number but I am always suspicious of calls that hang up as soon as they are answered, I certainly would not risk calling it back.
